Anyway, last night we got the fiddle parts done for the demo, which I think we're all pretty happy to have done. Now all that's left is cf's bass parts and the backups. Hopefully we'll be done tonight, as Politika and Mysteria are supposed to arrive for cocktails later...

Speaking of Politika, she's not too happy with me these days for doing so much recording at night. I guess I can't blame her, but at the same time it puts a bit of damper on things when you find out something you love to do is bordering on being prohibited by your significant other. Nothing's ever easy in life, I guess. I hope she realises it's just every now and again that things will get busy like this, and that she's OK with that. Of course, that is something she and I should talk about in person, but I'm not really capable of such talks when I first get out of bed, like this morning. :-) Anyway, I think we're going to go on a date tomorrow night, 'cause I miss her too.

In other news, I saw a big headline in the Gazette this morning saying that the U.S. is experiencing a boom.

Hmmm.

After hearing for so long about how the American economy is faltering, how the US dollar is weakening and how all this dampen's Bush's chances of re-election, you'll forgive me if I suspect that this headline smacks of propaganda? A sort of, "if we say it, it will happen," kind of statement? But what do I know, I'm just a pithy tech writer / amateur musician.
