So I'm in a little bit of a quandary right now. I think I need some female advice. (It's probably not helping that I'm in a bit of a bad mood today...)

I dunno nuttin' 'bout this baby shower stuff, but as the Husband, it is my role to serve as the Intermediary for said showers to be organized.

The family one seems to be taken care of, but the other one, organized by a friend of Poli's for friends of Poli's, is turning out to exclude anyone who isn't friends of this friend of Poli's. That leaves out several people on my side who know Poli and whom she has stated she would like to be there.

What's a guy supposed to do? I don' know nuttin' 'bout this shit, know what I'm sayin'? What's the protocol? Do I ask someone else to organize yet another shower? Do I just leave it alone and accept that several people Poli cares about will simply not be invited to any shower?

It's hard, frankly, not to be kinda irked. But, perhaps it's just a matter of them not being able to provide food for all those people, I dunno. It really is a nice gesture for this friend to be organizing this, and I should be thankful for it.

Maybe they just don't want the kids of these other couples to be around?
