K, so we just got another gig (tomorrow). That'll make 3 between last Thursday and this coming Saturday. Unfortunately this means we can't attend mysteria's housewarming party tomorrow :-(sorry mystie!). Man, who'd a thunk we'd reach the point where we'd actually have to consider turning *down* gigs...

Last night's impromptu jam was great fun, although it made me realize two things: 1) I am a shitty rock singer, and 2) I am out of practise (for that kind of music). I'd forgotten how high most of those tunes are for me.

Between the jam, a romp in the sack, 2 previous nights of virtually no sleep, and cycling like a madman to and from work the past few days, last night I slept better than I have in several days, which is a good thing. Didn't even wake up with a headache at 5 in the morning, for a change.

Speaking of biking, I just tore down to the local music store to pick up strings, string lubricant and a cleaning cloth. The tuner I'd like to buy to prevent more episodes like last week's? 120 bucks. Sheez. Won't be getting that for a while...
