OK, I think I have a few minutes here, because I've finished my late-afternoon meeting earlier than expected, and Poli's currently picking up the boys for the gig, and they still have to load the stuff and drive down to the cafe for food.

I predict Theresa will win this season's Canadian Idol. (Yes, I watch it. Shuttup. :-)

You know the Evil Empire is dreadfully ill when its political system cannot produce a candidate likeable enough to beat Bush. People aren't happy with Bush, and yet, they don't see much of an alternative in Kerry, who backed the Iraq war and has pussy-footed around several important issues. Bush is leading in the polls. I'm aghast and yet, somehow, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Speaking of which, I saw F911 last week. It's everything they say it is, and I guess we've all been hearing about a lot of what it reveals, but it's still well done. It made me very, very sad; a little bit angry and stunned, but mostly just sad. If the founding fathers saw their country today, they'd feel sick. And they'd probably kick Dubya's ass.

Crap I'll have to write more tomorrow. Gots to meet the boys and Poli now.
